Cartooning class projects

Last night was the final class of cartooning 1 this semester at ACAD.  I idid an inking demo and some even got a change to put down some ink on their final pencilled projects.

We had Suzie modelling for us at ACAD last night. We started out with focusing on hands and feet and has 20 min poses all evening. Below are some of the drawings from the session.

MAN OF MANY HATS

I'm often asked how I always keep so many things on the go and that I'm a man of many hats. Indeed, I keep the ball rolling in many courts, but I also try to keep it fun. Maybe I'm just a crazy workaholic. Maybe its that I'm doing what I love. You see for yourself in this monumental goal reaching Episode 50!

We had a much smaller class so I set up the model stand in the centre and got up a ladder to dangle a light from the beam above Bobby.

 My demo and discussion which centred around how to describe light and form with shading and how to see and create edges. Below are some of the studies my students created in class.
